Agenda of the meeting:

Results of the 2nd stage auditions for groups II (under 15) and III (under 17), list of laureates, award allocation.
The result of voting for the best performance of an obligatory piece in the group II (K. Wiłkomirski – “Aria” or “Vocalise”), in group III (K. Wiłkomirski – “Mazurek” or “Poem”)
Overview of the 15th International Youth International Cello Competition Kazimierz Wiłkomirski 2 – 6 December 2020
Establishing the program of the Concert of Laureates to be performed by the winners of the first prizes, Gr. II and III
Free voices and conclusions.

after listening to 7 participants of the 2nd group in the 2nd stage of the competition, familiarizing themselves with the mathematical calculations of the scores for the 1st and 2nd stage and the average score for both stages, in an open voting supplemented by a discussion, decided to award the following prizes:

1st prize: Fryderyk Midor
2nd prize: Not awarded
3rd prize ex aequo: Amelia Weronika Bryl

After hearing the 16 participants of the 3rd group in the 2nd stage of the competition, familiarizing themselves with the mathematical calculations of the scores for the 1st and 2nd stages and the average score for both stages, in an open voting supplemented by a discussion, the Jury decided to award the following prizes:

1st prize: Filip Krzeszowiec
2nd prize Antoni Wrona
3rd prize ex aequo: Amelia Zofia Chmielewska
Aurora Magdalena Dynowska
First Class Honors: Hanxiang Chen
Piotr Andrzej Olesz
2nd degree distinctions: Tadeusz Wawrowski

Fryderyk Midor takes part in the Orchestra Concert of the Foundation “Academy of Early Music” conducted by Paweł Osuchowski in the artistic season 2020/2021 or 2021/2022.

Half-recital as part of the XVII International Festival of Ph. and X. Scharwenków, Szamotuły 2021 or 2022 goes to Fryderyk Midor.

The course as part of the 12th Szamotuły Cello Master Course 2021 or 2022 goes to Fryderyk Midor.

Filip Krzeszowiec takes part in the Concert with the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Adam Klock in the artistic season 2020/2021 or 2021/2022.

Filip Krzeszowiec takes part in the Orchestra Concert of the Foundation “Academy of Early Music” conducted by Paweł Osuchowski in the artistic season 2020/2021 or 2021/2022.

Half-recital as part of the XVII International Festival of Ph. and X. Scharwenków, Szamotuły 2021 or 2022 goes to Filip Krzeszowiec.

All laureates of groups II and III will be invited to take part in a concert as part of the “Poznań Music Spring” festival and in a concert at the Feliks Nowowiejski music salon in Poznań in March 2021.

The winners of the first three places receive financial prizes.

 

Ad.2

The award for the best performance of the obligatory piece by the patron of the competition, Kazimierz Wiłkomirski, goes to:

in group II, Fryderyk Midor,
in group III – Amelia Zofia Chmielewska.

The following performances will be made available during the laureates’ concert:
